We have created this page to help us fundraise for S.A.N.D.S charity in memory of our son Preston-James, who was born sleeping on 21st May 2014. We never thought in a million years we would have to deal with losing a child but the help and care we have received from S.A.N.D.S has helped us create some extra special memories. When Preston-James was born, we were given a beautiful memory box from S.
A.N.D.S which included: a memory card to save photos, 2 beautiful blankets, 2 teddy bears, one to put in with Preston-James and the other for us to keep, hat, ink kit to enable to us to make prints of our sons hands and feet, memory book to record his details, beautiful verse card and information on support for us and our family. We found this to be a great help and enabled us to make memories that we can keep forever. We were also given the use of a cooling cot, so that we could keep Preston with us for a few days allowing us and family members to spend time with him, taking photos and cuddles etc. S.A.N.D.S also devote a lot of time and money into researching why there are so many babies die in the U.K each day, 17 babies a day are lost due to stillbirth or in neo natal after birth, this figure is far too high. Our aim is to raise as much funds as possible for this amazing charity and the work they do to help,care and support families going through this tragedy each and every day. So please help in any way you can , every donation counts no matter how small.
