Yet another project completed last week over in Rayleigh.

This one was a full strip back to joist, install new boards and re-waterproof.

One of our clients asked us to come and check the condition of a flat roof on one of their properties, so we carried out an inspection and took some core samples to see what was going on underneath.

It turned out the boards were completely saturated, and there was no insulation in the roof at all. It was clear the damp was being caused by condensation rather than water ingress from the flat roof.

We recommended upgrading to a warm roof, and the client was happy to go ahead. We stripped the roof back and installed a brand new warm roof and the FlexiTec system, giving it a much better long-term finish.

Another Successful week for M.A.D Flat Roofing LTD 👏 This year has been absolutely manic for us and were extremely excited to see what the rest of 2026 brings!

We got multiple projects over the line, here's a couple of the ones we finished up this week 🙌

An 80m² overlay & a couple GRP roofs for a local builder on one property in north London, multiple new projects starting next week 🤝

Another project completed by the team this week.

The roof was in an absolute shocking state, and had sustained multiple leaks, upon stripping the first layer of felt we found that the last "roofer" had overlaid the original felt and tiles 🤦‍♂️

this was a full strip back to joist, reboard and re-waterproof job and now the client is protected for 20 years. 👏

The slates are the next thing the client will be looking at getting done as they are also in a very bad way 🙏

We finally had a break in the weather and managed to get this one stripped, reboarded and made watertight for a client over in Cold Norton, now they are covered for 25 years 💧
