We have a 1901 Singer 66 in that had completely seized up from standing in a shed. Here it is semi stripped ready for freeing off.

A Bit of an Update.
I'm not posting much lately due to Facebook's weird banning policy. Several people I know have had their Facebook accounts restricted for no obvious reason and no explanation given.
Quite frankly, I'm not prepared to put work into a site with such a dictatorial censorship policy. I will continue to post items but it will be on my website once I have set a new page for it.

There are many people having their internet businesses closed down due to Facebook - I shall not be one of them.

I hope everyone understands.

We had another interesting wee clock in a few weeks ago. This time it's a French double-strike Oeil de Boeuf wall clock.
This is what we sometimes call a 'Birdcage' movement due to the fact that the mechanism runs inside an iron frame. The images show the movement being striped for cleaning and some of the work being completed. The final image shows the clock being reassembled.
The clock is now back with it's owner and keeping the time once again.
