As one of the region's leading shopfitting contractors, we consider Health and Safety to be of the utmost importance in every aspect of the work which we undertake. This includes making sure that all of our operatives are working to a safe system of work including necessary risk assessments and method statements. We also ensure that all plant, tools and equipment are checked and serviced regularly in accordance with the required legislation and regulations (LOLER, PUWER etc).

As a client you may not realise, but by law you are obliged to appoint a competent contractor to undertake the works on your behalf, which is why we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards.

Whilst many of you were enjoying the glorious sunshine (while it lasted!), the Evolve team we're busy constructing a new set of steps for LCP properties at their Burntwood Trading Estate site near Cannock. The public often used the grass verge to get from one unit to another so we have now made this much safer. A good job all round by the Evolve team👍

You may remember our post from a few weeks ago, we shared some progress photos from our Barnardos charity shop fit-out project in the One Stop Centre, Perry Barr. Well our work is now complete and the shop is now open ready for the public!

Just to recap, we worked on all aspects of the renovation including the installation of flooring, creating shelving solutions and changing rooms, installing electrics, fire alarm & heating systems and creating a bespoke till counter and charity bag pens.

We love a Ta-Da moment so here is the shop in all it's glory!

Not only do our team work on large-scale renovations, we also undertake works which improve for the general public. Here are some photos of our most recent project outside College Road Surgery in Kingstanding, Birmingham.

Our skilled team removed and replaced the damaged manhole cover, removed surplus bollards and replaced the paving around a manhole cover so that it's perfectly safe for the public – all carried out during normal hours, where public safety was paramount .

When you hear of interior fitouts, you may think of commercial and industrial premises. Whilst this makes up a large portion of what we do, we are also specialists in residential Extensions /Refurbishments and Renovations.

Here’s just one example of a residential project our team has recently completed.

Internally, we extended the existing landing, bedroom and ensuite, ALL finished to a high standard with new electrics, plumbing and plastering, all ready for decorating.

We installed 2 new dorma windows, as well as 1 pitched roof - fully including all aspects of roof timbers, insulation and roofing works..

Another beautiful home, happy client and happy team!

The Evolve team have been working hard over the last 4 weeks and are proud to have handed several rooms over to Aston University in their academic centre.

As you can see from the before/after shots, we have created much larger, airier spaces by removing block walls and glazed partitions. We have added new partitioned walls where necessary and installed fresh flooring throughout. With the new room layout, we have reconfigured the existing lighting, installed small power and data and decorated to a top quality finish.

Once again, we completed within the time specified and handed over to a very happy client!

We are delighted to be working with Barnardos again and that work has started on our next local charity project, which is Barnardo's One Stop, Perry Barr.



This is a 5 week programme where our team will be working on all aspects of the project including; installing new flooring suitable for high footfall, installation of shelving and racking, creation of changing rooms, installation of all new electrics, fire alarm and heating system and of course, final decoration so that it's ready for the public. With this being a charity premises, we also have a few bespoke items including a new till counter created by our talented on-site joiners and also the creation of bag pens which hold all of the donations before they are sorted and cleaned.

A great project for the Evolve team and we are looking forward to sharing our Ta-Da moment upon completion!

You may remember a few weeks ago, our very brummy Nigel did a quick walk around of the Salvation Army project in Coventry! This week, we handed over to a very happy client after just 10 weeks on site.

The Evolve team worked very closely with the client to create 5 emergency shelter rooms along with ensuites, plus a communal kitchen and lounge area, all of which comply with current building legislation.

Our team worked on all aspects of the project including installation of a new kitchen, plumbing, electrical installations, partition walls/ MF ceilings and decorations.

Well done team, another project completed on time to the delight of the client.

A quick update from our Salvation Army Project in Coventry that we posted a couple of weeks ago. We are making really good progress; creating five new bedrooms and a kitchen/living area. On the home run now: walls have been plastered, decorating started, 2nd fix plumbing and electrics nearly complete and the kitchen fitting has started! Keep your eyes peeled for the finished project photos!

Here's a short walk around of one of our latest projects: a residential renovation in Sutton Coldfield (this time minus Nigel's Brummie accent!).

Here we were tasked with creating one large open plan living area to include a kitchen, dining room and conservatory. The team will achieve this by removing the main internal chimney breast wall and part of the external wall. It's still early on in the project, but our team are looking to complete within two weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for final project photos coming soon!

Here are a few photos from one of our latest projects; A new E Commerce Hub for Barnardos in Rugby, Warwickshire.

The brief was to create one multi-purpose easy to use unit, originating from the two existing units.

Within our project remit, our team installed two mezzanine floors, Fire Rated full height partitions, along with internal dividing partitions which created 7 brand new offices and a kitchen. New Structural openings were formed between the two existing units - to allow access between the two units.

This was the full package project for Evolve and we were also responsible for installing: Suspended Gas Warehouse Heaters, Suspended Ceilings, Decorating, Carpentry, Flooring, Heating and Electrics including Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms.
..And the best bit, the 8 week contract was completed in 7 weeks, within budget, and to the highest of standards, all to the sheer delight of the client!

Very proud of the team for completing this project to such an amazing standard, and i'm sure you'll agree, the finished project looks amazing!
