📢 Another major project secured 📢

Grant-Air Limited has been appointed to deliver a large-scale mechanical upgrade across a major UK transport hub, covering multiple operational buildings within a live environment. ✈️

The project includes full upgrades to AHUs, VRF systems and extract ventilation, alongside the removal of legacy gas infrastructure as part of a wider transition towards more efficient, future-ready building services.

Operating in a highly controlled, security-sensitive environment brings its own challenges, from logistics and access to programme coordination but it’s exactly the type of project our team is built for.

Delighted to announce that Grant-Air has secured the full Design & Build MEP contract for Washington Court, Birmingham.

The works comprise a £2m MEP package, including the complete design, supply and installation of:

• Electrical Systems (Mains Distribution, Lighting & Power)
• Fire Alarm, Security & Access Control Systems
• Photovoltaic Systems
• Infra-Red Heating Systems
• Mechanical Ventilation and Comfort Cooling
• Public Health Installations
• Anti-ligature sanitaryware and fixtures throughout

The scheme forms part of Birmingham City Council’s initiative to increase the supply of suitable temporary accommodation for vulnerable families, helping move away from large-scale hostel provision towards safer, family-based supported housing.

Washington Court will provide secure, comfortable temporary accommodation alongside dedicated support to help families transition into permanent homes.

Grant-Air Limited is thrilled to announce we have been awarded the HVAC package for a prestigious new luxury student accommodation development.

While many are hanging up their hard hats for the festive break, our dedicated team will be staying active on-site throughout the Christmas period to ensure this project hits the ground running. We are committed to delivering on schedule, even when it means working while the turkey is roasting! 🎄👷‍♂️
