First day done at the Royal 3 counties show.

Not quite cabin building - but in preparation for the@royalthreecountiesshow next weekend - we have created a collection of farmyard animal stipple prints. Each picture is made up of 7000 individual CNC carved stippled / dots. These will be available to order / buy at the show.
We will also have our show cabin for sale, aswell as other fun CNC signs and birch ply furniture.

The slight delay in the aluminium window delivery, meant progress on the cabin had slowed up a bit.
It has allowed me to digress onto a few of the birch ply furniture pieces for the inside and items to sell at the show.
Lots of sanding, oiling and spray painting of cupboard doors to get done.
The windows, fortunately rocked up yesterday and it's starting to feel like the end is in sight.

RHS show cabin / cabin build update -

Interior linings are more or less done now, but awaiting all the windows to allow me to finish window & skylight reveals and lay flooring.
Gable end & ceiling - white oiled birch ply.
Side walls - finsa hidrofugo spray finished in FB skimming stone.
All interior sheets & electric socket cut outs, cut on CNC.

Having done the EPDM roof yesterday, has allowed me to install the Austrian larch cladding to the rear of the cabin.

Will hopefully get the rest of the larch cladding oiled in white oil (stops it looking orange)
and put on - as far as the windows anyway.

The other part of the project is to create some internal CNC based furniture and homeware items, that we'll hopefully have for sale at the show & .shows .

This year's exhibition cabin for the RHS Malvern show and Royal Three counties show is taking shape nicely.

All the walls and roof sections are digitally designed and then cut on our auto tool change CNC router.

We will also hopefully be launching a small Scandi style furniture collection at the shows aswell.

The last month or so, we've been busy transforming part of the workshop into a dedicated CNC router shop.
With the project part funded by the UK Government - through the Rural England Prosperity Fund in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council. We have invested in a 3m x 1.5m router with auto tool changer.
We will shortly begin work on a new show cabin for the RHS Malvern spring garden show.
This cabin will be based on the modular building system and the structure will be more or less completely digitally fabricated on the CNC router.
The beauty of this system is that it is completely modular and if necessary can be transported to site in flat pack form - hopefully overcoming our age old problem of site access.

But for now...,. we're just playing & cutting out a stipple art file of a butterfly for the girls!

Another project out the gate.

The brief was to take this 10m x 3.4m cabin of the clients own design, to a watertight shell stage.
Where they can now complete the internal fit out themselves.

Just in time for us to head out for my birthday tea.

The new year is shaping up to be exciting, with the installation of a new 3m x 1.5m CNC auto tool change router.
Which will allow us to build modular cabins, based on the wikihouse building system.
Overcoming access issues, which have always hindered the bigger cabins.

Looking forward to an interesting 2026.
