Nice little project I’ve been working on in Lintzford.
Summer room re model.
Removed all windows, doors, and glass roof. Repositioned doorways, installed structural steel posts, new joists, installed reclaimed slate roof with heritage velux windows, insulated roof. Windows and doors done by a company the clients organised and the result is fantastic.

Nice to go back and finally see the finished product. 👌

Last couple of months we’ve been working Stepney Bank Stables. A fantastic charity that does amazing work with lovely staff and volunteers. Been a new one for us having to work around horses.
All block walls clad, new poly flooring, new foyer built, new mag lock entry doors fitted, 2 new offices formed, new shelves built and new bench area for spectators to sit and watch, amongst the many other bits and pieces we did. Really enjoyed this one. Few bits to finish namely a reception hatch, which the prices are ridiculous so if anyone knows anyone that can supply a reception hatch drop me a message.

🧱👷‍♂️🔨MULTI SKILLED BRICKLAYER/BUILDER WANTED

Busy small building company based in Gateshead, Blaydon NE21 looking for a multi-skilled bricklayer/builder to carry out the following duties.

Small scale demolition
Digging out by machine and on occasions by hand- pouring footings- all aspects of brick and blockwork and occasional stonework - putting steels in- pointing and groundwork’s/drainage.
Experience in first fix joinery would be a bonus but not essential.
💰Day rate/hourly rate negotiable depending on experience
🚐 Van provided for work use so MUST HAVE A (ideally clean but no more than 6 points on DRIVING LICENSE-NON NEGOTIABLE
Must have own hand tools. If using own stihl saw blades and 2stroke will be provided.
📍 Mainly domestic work – around Gateshead, Newcastle and Northumberland area- extensions, garden walls, structural knock-throughs etc. With occasional commercial work.

The type of work we do:
• Extensions/ Renovations
• Garden wall demolish & rebuild
• Structural alterations
• General building work

We’re after someone who:
✔ Knows their trade and a minimum of 10 years in the industry
✔ Works tidy
✔ Can crack on without being babysat
✔️Good communicator who can overcome problems with solutions
✔ Takes pride in the finished job
