🚨 We’re Hiring! 🚨
It’s a busy time here at Lodge, and we’re looking to expand our workforce.
What you’ll be doing:
- MIG welding to a high standard
- TIG welding experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Repairing and servicing machinery
- Assisting with the fabrication of steel components and assemblies
- Reading and working from basic engineering drawings
- Operating press brakes, lathes, plasma cutters, and other workshop machinery
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely
What we’re looking for:
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A keen interest in welding, fabrication, and engineering
- Strong practical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new skills
- GCSEs or a college course in engineering/welding are helpful, but not essential
- Someone who can solve problems as they arise
