It seems strange, but I am hijacking my own posts, sort of.

Bella (my favourite daughter) set up a TikTok channel from scratch for dmAutomotive, recycling some of the nonsense I have previously uploaded.

Bella did a far better job; studying the analytics to maximise engagement; needless to say, she is the cause of several thousand views..and so I asked very nicely if she could post 'my' videos on Facebook & Instagram, and here are two of them.

Very proud of her; suggested she set up her own little brand, L’Boo, maybe a career in marketing one day?

Finally got the chassis joined to the subframes 🎉😁, admittedly not on the first attempt, forgot to remove the lower lambda sensor, and decided to fit the floors as well 🤔

Today my daughter .trumble_ (and now social media manager 🙏😍) created these pictures of what the final project car should look like.

The car is an Exocet kit car based built on a MX5 Skate.

The car includes gold pro springs from and chassis and kit from

The donor uses a MZR (not a typo) 2L naturally aspirated engine ~160hp ;combined with the new chassis total weight should be ~700kg, so at best 230hp per tonne, 0-60mph 4-5 seconds (so I am told).
