A big day of jobs.
- A corner steady that wasn’t winding down. Fortunately we were able to remove it from the van to replace the spindle nut.
- Returning to a customer that had a faulty motor mover remote. We supplied a remote form an and r.
- Call-out to a fridge that wasn’t igniting. We found the battery had leaked in the ignition. We cleaned the contacts and replaced the battery. We also did a couple of other small jobs for customer
- call-out to another fridge that wasn’t igniting. We found some debris in the burner making the igniter not arcing properly. We have recommended a new burner and a proper clean out.
- call-out to a step that only went down but not up. We identified the relay switch box was faulty. We are going to send this off for repair to save some costs.

To start the week a Alde antifreeze flush and refill. We use pure water to flush the system before filling and bleeding with new 5 year Alde approved antifreeze

An interesting emergency call out over the weekend.

Customer stated they had no power to the sockets but did have the mains icon on the Alde heating system. Having heard they had tried another lead and their socket at home with the same results we looked straight in the consumer unit.

We found the busbar was not seated inside the clamps for MCB 1 and 3.

Apparently a technician had replaced the middle MCB due to a failure.

All sorted within 30 minutes with the customer now able to enjoy the rest of their holiday.

On a annual service of a abbey freestyle we found one side of the brake shoes to be de-laminated. This was likely due to the handbrake being left on during winter storage.

Fortunately we carry spares so we were able to replace them with no labour charge to the customer

Leak identify on a habitation check on a Bailey this morning. Came up on the low pressure test and with leak fluid. We carry regulators in stock so this was changed with no labour added.

Motormover callout today. Customer states it didn’t move onto the wheels.

Found both motors seized. Freed up and moving all in a 30 minute appointment.
