Stage 1 complete at Conkwell Grange 👌

A lot of setting out, measuring and cutting went into creating this radius paving area, making sure everything followed the curve and came together neatly.

Really happy with how the shape has turned out and how well the natural stone works with the surroundings.

Stage 1 done — plenty more to come 🧱👌

A slightly different post from our usual brickwork and stonework today 🧱

Throughout October, once the trowel goes down for the day, the running shoes are going on. I’ll be running 5K every single day to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK 💙

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men, so it’s a cause that could touch any of our families, friends, customers or fellow trades.

🏃‍♂️ 5K A DAY. EVERY DAY. ALL OCTOBER. 💙

This October I’m setting myself a challenge — running 5K every single day for the whole month to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

That’s 31 runs and over 155km by the time the month is finished. 😅

I know there are going to be days when I really don’t fancy pulling the trainers on — especially after a full day at work! 😂 But that’s exactly why I wanted to set myself something that would genuinely challenge me, both physically and mentally.

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK, and chances are most of us will know someone who has been affected by it in one way or another.

So throughout October I’ll be getting the miles in, sharing the good days and probably the absolutely horrible ones too. 😂

If anyone can spare a few quid towards the fundraiser, I’d massively appreciate it. And if you can’t donate, even just sharing the page would mean a lot and help get it in front of more people. 💙

Happy Birthday Ricky! 🎉

I genuinely don't think you'll ever realise how much of an impact you've had on my life. You've been far more than just a mate you've been an inspiration, a guiding figure and someone I've looked up to through some important parts of my life.

Thank you for the advice, the honesty, the laughs and for always being someone I can turn to. I'm incredibly grateful to have you in my corner.

A little before and after from today 🧱

The roof removal had left a few loose bricks, some old lead still in the joints and a fair bit of making good to do.

Nothing too exciting, just a case of getting stuck in, removing the old lead, sorting the loose brickwork and making good the damaged joints.

It’s not always about the big projects either. We’re more than happy to take on the smaller repair and maintenance jobs alongside the larger builds 👍

Safe to say, nobody was volunteering to carry this one on their own.
