well what can I say, WHAT a weekend!

warming up at The Independent Tap Room & Beer Shop on Saturday was great fun, we had an absolute blast and were looked after exceptionally well as ever! thanks guys.

the main event on Sunday at our wonderful new home The Lewes Road Inn was nothing but excellent - the sun shone, the drinks flowed and oh my days did you lot show out! place was RAMMO.
the staff were great as ever, the Traction rig courtesy of Jonny sounded superb and it was a joy to see so many of your lovely faces, both new and old. especially old! 😂
I almost fell off my feet when someone said 'hello Tim', turned around and it was none other than Graeme who ran The Hobgoblin when this all began, some 28 years ago 🤯! must be a good 20 years since we last crossed paths. what a treat.

Easter! gods kid, random fake rabbits and untold nasty chocolate. oh and the usual massively excessive dj shenanigans..

SUNDAY is Bust the Box at the LEWES ROAD INN, a residents' special featuring noise from Traction Sound, free from 3pm.

Will & Tim will be warming up / peaking too soon at THE INDEPENDENT in Queen's Park on Easter Saturday, playing them stoopid vinyls from 6 in the pm til they hoof us out (midnight). and here is a link. x

big thanks to Mix Tape in Lewes for having me and Al play on Friday, was plenty fun. Con Club is a cracking venue. I would do a BTB there but I don't think you lazy bastards would come that far!
on another note, please take the time to vote for Innerfield in this rather silly sound system poll - they clearly deserve it on sound quality alone, but even more for all they have done for the Brighton party scene over the decades. many thanks 🙏

it's a fundraiser for Lewes schools so it's a pay event, but every penny of profit will go to this fine cause.

Sunday the 18th of January will mark the 20th anniversary of our friend Dennis's passing. we're gonna do a memorial thing, but it's a smaller event, so if you knew him or just wish to pay respect / drink beer, please dm me for details. it isn't a big venue so I don't want it to get overwhelmed. peace X

I always do these thank you posts but it feels rude not to - yesterday at The Lewes Road Inn was a blast once again, so a big thank you to all who came down and cut a rug, you're ace you are. splendid guest dj Shamblin Sexton rocked it, the staff were well sound and Jonny's Traction rig sounded tasty as. have a great Christmas and new year everyone ❤️

thanks everyone for coming to the party tonight, was all the fun.

much saddened though to learn of the passing of Ken Downie of The Black Dog. hands down one of the most inventive and influential producers of any scene. he's right up there with the very greatest. what a legacy he leaves.

Rest in peace Ken. and thank you for sharing your genius with us. go well.
