happy autumn!
couple of bar gigs with BTB peeps tonight - I'm joining Daddy Marcus at THE MITRE on Baker Street for 3 hours of soulish vinyl (7 til 10), while Dan Watts is playing jazzy goodness at the BLACK DOVE from 8 til 1 in the am. 🫡

today is World Su***de Prevention Day.
sadly, most of us have been affected by this very difficult subject.

I think the gist really is just - look out for your friends. if you know that someone is struggling, and they go quiet, reach out.

it's tough out there (and in here). let's try to look after one another. it's the biggest killer in many demographics, and that is messed up.

big up everyone who came to another ramjam BTB on Sunday, it was a bit of a slow burner but then absolutely heaving and roasting hot too by the end!

sorry that I couldn't find the necessary minerals to dj much myself, sometimes it just isn't there I'm afraid. I'll rectify this at the next instalment which is SATURDAY 19TH DECEMBER where I will finally play a two hour headline set, promise!!

we got FAT ASS SPEAKERS (courtesy of Jonny / Traction Sound), an EPIC (and very overdue) maiden btb dj voyage for the inimitable ANDY MAC, the return of hirsute hero DADDY MARCUS, and gawd knows what else!

resident accidents TIM BTB, DAN WATTS, DJ NOTHING and WILL CLASS make up the numbers.

it is at LEWES ROAD INN on SUNDAY 30TH AUG and is FREE ALL DAY from 3ish til the witching hour.
