Project Complete – The Boat House, Bradford on Avon

We’re pleased to share the completion of The Boat House, Bradford on Avon for our new client, Valiant Pub Company, handed over in April.

Key highlights of the project included:

✅ Installation of 205m² of composite decking, transforming the former play area into a stunning outdoor space
✅ A new open tread oak staircase with glass balustrade, opening up the upstairs function room for use as a restaurant
✅ A new back bar installed to help support busy trading days

A big thank you to Rebecca Mason and Lauren Grimson at Concept IDL for their vision in creating such a fantastic destination pub and our dedicated site team, subcontractors and suppliers – for delivering to such a high standard.

We’re proud to support Valiant Pub Co on their growing estate and look forward to working together on future projects!

🏆 Proud to share some fantastic news for Team G&G!

Our Capex project The Cherry Orchard, Barry has been awarded Capex of the Year by Marston’s PLC at this week’s Contractor Seminar & Awards. A huge achievement and recognition we’re incredibly proud of.

This ambitious transformation brought the site into the new Two Door concept, within a 3 week closure and 1 week soft start.

A massive thank you to everyone involved — from our core team’s incredible dedication and attention to detail, to the phenomenal efforts of our subcontractors and the unwavering support from the directs. It truly was a team effort, and this award is a testament to what collaboration and commitment can achieve.

The Thomas Arms, Llanelli completed this week for Mahsa P at Marstons PLC.

Full external and internal redecoration. Hardwood timber floors sanded, stained and polished. New carpet, vinyl flooring, wallpaper and bar tops renewed.

Cracking job from the G&G Team so grateful for the continued hardwork, standards and dedication.

Initial Works at The Old Plough, Bristol completed for Mahsa P. at Marston's PLC

External timber repairs and decorations, 1 day closure to replace the carpet throughout, vinyl flooring to the toilets, new polished back bar top with alterations, re-upholster fixed seating bases. Private Quarters decorations and remedial works throughout.

The Grove, St Davids completed for Mahsa P. at Marston's PLC

Full internal and external decorations, 64sqm of timber flooring refinished, remedials and repairs throughout and assisting Innserve Ltd with a new 40m python route from the cellar to the bar.

Great effort from the G&G team and thank you to our contractors for getting this one over the line.

The G&G Team has done it again! In just 9 working days following closure, we have successfully restored The Clock Tower, Cheltenham to its former glory. A soft start allowed us to focus on the external works, the team's dedication and hard work paid off, and the result is truly impressive.

A big thank you to Sophie Triggs, Shelley Kemp, Samantha Leason, Sharon Wilson Newhey Carpets Limited, PlusFloor, Gareth Dew, Decorations and Finishes Wales, Falcon Joinery, Merlin Carpets for their fantastic effort.

Our latest full refurbishment project at the Birchgrove Inn, Cardiff. Fantastic looking Neighbourhood scheme by the brewery with a sports bar, skittle alley and secret garden. Hats off to the core team and all subcontractors to get this completed in 4 weeks 👏🎩
