While we’ve been quiet on social media, we’ve been busy transforming this family home behind the scenes. A big part of this build was improving airtightness throughout the property. Reducing drafts and uncontrolled airflow means a more comfortable home year-round, while also improving overall energy performance.

We’ve paired this with a woodfibre floor system, introducing a natural, breathable layer to the build. It helps regulate both temperature and moisture, creating a healthier internal environment while adding to the home’s long-term efficiency.

Finished with textured microcement walls and a soft, muted palette, the space feels calm, durable, and built for real family life — balancing function, comfort, and longevity.

WE'RE BACK! It's been a long hiatus on social media - but behind the scene, we've been hard at work on this beautiful property in Montpelier.

By installing a structural steel beam, we were able to open up the space entirely. The result is a light-filled, breathable layout where the kitchen and living areas feel connected.

Natural light now pours in through the conservatory windows, enhancing both airflow and atmosphere. A carefully considered palette of muted, warm tones keeps the space feeling calm and cohesive.

Sustainability played a key tole throughout - from reworking the existing structure, to installing reclaimed floorboards to reduce the carbon footprint, this home has been designed to feel as good as it functions.

Another one of our favorites from this year!

Here we have the Bedminster extension, built with a high-tech warm roof system using Steico woodfibre insulation and Siga Majcoat 200 to ensure a roof that is both warm and breathable. Finished with Sandtoft Modula clay tiles—a contemporary interpretation of a classic Victorian tile—the design blends modern performance with traditional character. Meticulously detailed, the project prioritises airtightness and insulation while maximising natural light and retaining a timeless finish.

As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on some of our favorite projects.

This intricate steelwork installation in Montpelier features columns rising over five metres, forming a dramatic, chapel-like space across two storeys. The intervention opens up what was once a dingy second bathroom, transforming it into a light-filled, open-plan living area.

We wanted to share some shots from our recent project in Montpelier! Here, we used Woodfibre Flex from to create a fully insulated, breathable timber ground floor as part of our restoration efforts.

To enhance performance, we combined this with Majpell 5 and Majcoat 200 from , creating a draft-free, airtight layer — helping to reduce your carbon footprint and lower heating costs.

We also restored the original Victorian floorboards to their former glory, maintaining the building’s authentic character while discreetly concealing the advanced insulation system beneath.
