Pleased to help out recently repairing a previously condemned commercial boiler.

New Installations like this can be very costly and unless you’ve financially prepared it comes as an unwelcome surprise.

The repair work ensured the boiler was safe and operational and gives the customer the breathing space needed to raise capital for a new installation in the summer.

Got to be one of the oldest boilers still going that finally gave up! Ideal standard > 47yrs
Asbestos flue the lot…didn’t want to leave 😂

Got to respect the old boy for lasting that long.

Nice to redo the boiler room at my local doctors (lodgeside survey)

*Vaillant Ecotec plus 46kw commercial boiler
*Heatrae Sadia 170L indirect unvented cylinder
*Vaillant WH40-2 low loss header
*5m x 125mm vertical flue
*46x Thermostatic radiator valves
*converted the system from gravity to pressurised
*new controls/filters, etc

Not a lot of space to work in, but hey we’re used to that!

I went back on a previously condemned boiler to find out that their mate of a mate had installed a new one on the cheap at a commercial premises. I found a big gas leak on the pipe work and I fixed it but a month later they had a fire below unrelated that would of caused a lot more damage if I hadn’t found the gas leak directly below the fire. Managed to get a budget install done for them and try and tidy up the pipe work shambles 🙄. Moral of the story = don’t cut corners with gas
