Finally got around to passing this masonry job I carried out earlier in the year, in

Paint removal, bath stone repairs and recarving work, along with some timber window repairs.

Last weekend I went back to Glastonbury Abbey for the first time since I worked there back in 2013/14. It was amazing to see all the work we did so many years ago. I think in total I worked there for over a year, many months of lime mortar pointing, stone conservation, stone walling, repairing steps and paving/laying slabs. Felt like I knew every inch of the place. It's weathered in beautifully... especially loving the lichen on the blue lias paving!

Working with some Blue Lias stone today - it's not uncommon to find ammonite fossils such as this.

Thanks to for sending over these pics of a Cotswold stone raised planter I built last year as part of a wider garden landscaping project with . It's not often I get a chance to share some high res pics and see my work once it's weathered in and the planting has taken place.
