New Installation Near Caistor! ☀️ ⚡️

The team has been busy near Caistor, completing a high-performance solar and storage solution designed for maximum energy independence. This system was designed to make the most of the available sunlight across the property, featuring a multi-roof layout and massive battery capacity.
The Setup
⚡️18 x AIKO All-Black 475W Panels: These sleek, high-efficiency panels were installed across 3 different roof spaces to capture energy throughout the day. ⚡️Hybrid Solar Inverter: The "brain" of the system, managing power flow between the panels, the home, and the grid.
⚡️15kW Battery Storage: We installed 3 x 5kW batteries, giving the homeowners a 15kW capacity to store solar energy for use at night or during peak times.
⚡️EV Charger: Integration of a dedicated charge point, allowing the client to fuel their vehicle with 100% clean, self-generated energy.

This home is now significantly protected against rising energy costs!💰

🏠 In-Roof vs. On-Roof Solar: What’s the Difference?

If you're upgrading to solar, the first choice is how they sit on your home. Here’s the quick breakdown:

1. On-Roof (The Standard)
The panels sit on rails bolted above your existing tiles.
• Pros: Better airflow keeps panels cool (higher efficiency), and it’s generally cheaper/faster to install.
• Cons: They sit about 10cm off the roof, which is less "seamless" visually.

2. In-Roof (The Integrated)
The panels replace a section of your tiles and sit flush with the roofline.
• Pros: Incredibly sleek and modern—it looks like part of the house architecture.
• Cons: Slightly more expensive and better suited for new builds or full re-roofs.

Which look do you prefer for your home?

☀️ Cut Your Energy Bill From £200 to... ?

If you’re fed up of seeing £200 vanish from your bank account every month to pay the energy companies, it’s time to look at your roof.

We’ve crunched the numbers on a popular setup: 8x 505W Panels (4kWp system) paired with 10kWh of battery storage.

The Savings 💰
For a typical UK household currently paying £200 per month, this setup can realistically reduce your bill by 70% to 90% depending on your habits.
• Current Bill: £200 /month
• New Estimated Bill: £30–£50 /month
• Monthly Savings: ~£150+

How the Maths Works (Our Assumptions)
To get these figures, we have to look at how a 10kWh battery changes the game. Here is the logic:
• Annual Generation - approx. 3,600kWh per year (based on UK average sun hours)
• Daily Average - Approx. 10kWh per day (more in summer, less in winter).
• Self-Consumption - 80%+. Without a battery, you'd lose excess power to the grid. With 10kWh of storage, you capture almost all of it to use during non-daylight hours.
• Unit Rate - 24.5p per kWh (current price cap average).
• Smart Tariffs - We assume you use a "Time of Use" tariff to top up the battery at cheap overnight rates during winter.

Why the 10kWh Battery is the Secret 🔋
A 4kW solar array generates plenty of power during the day, but most families aren't home to use it.
1. Daytime: The panels power your fridge, appliances, and charge the battery.
2. Evening: When the sun goes down and your usage peaks (TVs, cooking, lights), the 10kWh battery kicks in.
3. Winter: On cloudy days, you "load shift"—charging the battery from the grid at 7p–9p per kWh overnight to use during the expensive daytime hours.

We’ve recently completed a job near Market Rasen, which shows how unused shed roofs can become a farm’s biggest asset. 🌾

The Specs:
☀️ 40 x 450W Panels
🧠 12kW Sigenergy Inverter
🔋 26kWh Battery Stack

This setup doesn’t just generate power; it stores it, meaning this farm is running on sunshine long after the sun goes down.

Do you have Solar Panels? Stop Exporting Cheap Power! ☀️

You’ve invested in solar—fantastic! But if you’re still selling your midday energy, you’re missing out. Turn your solar system into a true, self-sufficient energy hub with these 3 smart additions:

Battery Storage 🔋: Store the sun's energy to use at night. Say goodbye to expensive peak-time imports and hello to 24/7 solar usage!

Smart Diverters (like Myenergi Eddi) 💧: Use that solar surplus to heat your hot water cylinder for free. It’s instant money back on your heating bill.

EV Charging ⚡: Power your electric vehicle directly with sunshine. The cleanest, cheapest commute imaginable.

💰 Ready to cut your bills even more and truly go off-grid ready?

⚡ BIG POWER MOVE IN LINCOLNSHIRE! 🔋

We just completed a large commercial upgrade featuring 80 x 500W Solar Panels (40kW) paired with 4 x 5.8kWh Batteries (23.2kWh storage) for a local business.

This isn't small-scale—it's serious energy independence! They're now storing loads of power to avoid peak-time grid costs and meet their sustainability goals.
