New office block connection
We recently carried out works for a returning client at a busy factory site, connecting a new office block into their existing sewer system.
works included:
✔ 35m of new drainage pipework
✔ 50m of 100mm ducting to facilitate a new power feed
✔ mole beneath the existing concrete driveway to minimise disruption to daily operations

A large scale drive way that’s kept us busy recently.
We started by removing the large grass bank to make full use of the existing drive. Once cleared, we dug the foundations and built a blockwork retaining wall, which was then faced with stone and lime.

Next, we dug up and mucked away the old, cracked concrete before installing new drainage throughout the drive, to rectify the issue of holding water.

A new stone base was spread and compacted to the correct height and covered with a geotextile membrane. We then laid and levelled a sharp sand layer, ready to take the gravel grid system.

Finally, we filled the grids with locally sourced chippings, added granite setts to form the new entrance, and used railway sleepers to border the entire driveway.
