✅ Staircase Transformation Completed Today✅

Customer wanted to modernise their stairs after a previous (questionable!) alteration to the landing.

We removed the awkward step, worked around existing pipework with a bespoke MDF boxing, and finished the landing with new nosing and skirting — ready for decoration.

To complete the look:
• Cladded existing newel posts
• Installed new handrail, base rail & nosing in White American Ash
• Finished with a sleek glass balustrade

Clean, modern, and a huge improvement on what was there before 👌

🏠 House Refurb Complete in Cambridge 🏠

Back in December, we were approached by a contractor to take on a full house refurbishment in Cambridge. The property, a rental, needed to be brought up to standard and ready for new tenants — all work was completed to clients desired specifications.

We were given just 2 weeks to complete all the work and get this ready and to say it was a challenge would be an understatement. We inherited a property that had been left in poor condition, with subpar plastering and a lot of remedial work needed before we could even get started properly.

I’m proud to say we delivered on time, with everyone involved absolutely thrilled with the results.

🔨 Scope of works included:
• Full kitchen installation (Magnet Kitchens), including worktops and a bespoke MDF cupboard to house the boiler
•New Worster Bosch combi boiler, re-hang all radiators throughout property, and new downstairs toilet and wash-hand basin.
• New flooring fitted in kitchen and bathroom and rest of downstairs latex’ed ready for flooring of clients choice
• Tiled splashbacks in both kitchen and bathroom
• New fascia, soffit and guttering detailing across the entire property, including the garage
• Installation of 2 new double garage doors
• Complete redecoration throughout — including extensive prep and correction of poorly plastered walls (honestly, it looked like it had been done with a spoon 🤣)
• All woodwork finished in satin
• 6mm plywood throughout the whole of first floor ready for new floor covering
• New internal doors including a fire door for the kitchen.
• New skirting installed on first floor level.
• Minor outdoor works to tidy the property.

🪵 BALCONY DECKING 🪵

Decking job completed this week! Customer got in touch to replace his rotten balcony decking.

Almost a like-for-like transformation, with a few added bits and pieces — not only to make it long-lasting, but easier on the eye too.

All posts fitted with DPM membrane protection, plus a 6x2 structural frame installed with all the necessary structural requirements.

Really pleased with how this one turned out 🔨✅

🚪DOOR TRANSFORMATION🚪

Installed 9 brand-new oak doors, finished off with satin handles and hinges for a more modern look. A clean, stylish upgrade that makes a big difference.

The doors were shot into the old linings which I’m sure some of you are aware can be tricky, however me and the customer were delighted with the finish result!🔥

Here’s a kitchen fit from a few weeks ago!

Howdens Pebble Grey units, fitted with a custom breakfast bar area and finished off with brushed steel T-bar handles.

Quartz worktop and upstand has now been fitted from Howdens/their third-party installers, which finished this kitchen.
