We may not be posting much but you have all kept us very busy which we are extremely grateful for.

Here is another little reminder of why servicing your vehicles are so important🛠️
Here we have 4 spark plugs and a fuel filter taken out of cars which were serviced recently.

As you can see all are in very poor condition which will effect how the car preforms. To ensure you achieve a long and healthy life span for your vehicle we suggest getting it serviced once a year🔧

Wow it has been a busy beginning to the year🛠️

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who uses me, recommendeds me or even just shares our posts👍🏻

I would just like to say currently I am booked up at least 2 weeks in advanced. This week I have had a lot of phone calls of people asking if I can squeeze them in which unfortunately I can’t. I will always try by best to fit as many people in as possible but I do not work weekends and late at night due to wanting to spend time with my family which I hope everyone can understand.

If you know you have a service due, brake pads need changing soon or there’s something you want me to look at on your car just make sure you get booked in as quickly as possible so there is no disappointment. I would rather have to cancel your booking than for you to have to wait weeks and weeks just for me to be able to get over to you.

As we get closer to the Christmas period I just wanted to let everyone know I will be taking off the 22nd December- 28th December to spend with my family🎅🏻

We have been a little quite on here for good reason🫢
We have upgraded the van🛠️

You guys have kept us so busy it was definitely time for an upgrade. It’s taken a few weeks to sort everything out but it’s finally looking how we want it👍🏻

If you see us out and about give us a wave or a beep👋🏻

We are fully booked next week however have spaces available the following week so make sure to get in quickly and we get booked up fast!

Another prime example of making sure you have your yearly service completed on your vehicles. 🛠️

Just because you might think your car is running smoothly doesn’t mean it actually is.

Here we have an old fuel filter and brake discs which have been changed for brand new.

With the weather getting colder make sure you get your service booked in, which will also include a full vehicle inspection to ensure it is winter ready❄️

Had a customer message us the other week saying there car was making a grinding noise when the clutch was depressed.

On removal of the gearbox it was clear that the clutch realise bearing was no longer existent.

Luckily it was caught now before further damage was caused.

Remember to never put of any work that may need completing on your vehicles as it may cause more damage resulting in more money.

We had a customer message us the other week saying his exhaust kept knocking around due to a broken clamp.

We took off the exhaust and removed the joining clamp. Welded between the original exhaust and scorpion preference exhaust to secure it and stop it from dropping.

Another happy customer at Toms Motor Repairs. We have space from next week for any repairs, services or diagnostics you may need.

Not what you expect to find when you go for a second opinion on an ECU fault on a customers car. 😯

Another reason why it’s so important to check your car over regularly. Lift up the bonet to check your screen wash, oil levels, brake fluid and check for any leaks and also to see if there are any unwanted guests hiding away🫢

We have been a little quiet on here as we are lucky we have been so busy!

While doing routine maintenance on a customers car I saw the CV joint had split on the drive shaft. After speaking with the customer they asked if we could get it fixed as quickly as possible.
A quote was sent the following day and managed to get booked in a few days later to complete the work🛠️
