www.postcardmodels.co.uk We can design and make buildings for any occasion.

A family business based in Kent founded in 2016, Postcard Models officially launched in 2018. Our family team is made up of a range of skills, from engineering to illustration and design. We make all our models and kits from scratch, using various methods including lasercutting, 3D printing and casting. OUR INSPIRATION

Our models are inspired by British architecture and we’re always searching for new buildings to model. We have worked on a number of bespoke projects including Hasting’s net huts and a family Carpet Shop business to name a few. Please get in touch to discuss your needs.

Hello 👋 I’ve been absolutely useless at Instagram. No real shock there...

Since my eldest daughter started school, my brain has officially become mashed potato 🥔, so remembering to post and keep up with the demands of social media falls to the bottom of the pile 🚮

Anyway! Here are some photos from the summer holidays: exploring Wiltshire, seeing Martin Parr’s exhibition at National Trust Lacock (forever lurking around a National Trust property), beach hangs, and plotting some newness for Postcard Models.

A lovely summer was had. Memories were made. Photos were taken. Eventually uploaded. Miracles do happen. 🙃

Questions we get asked a lot... ✉️ and as for "when's your next model?" 👀 let's just say, something new is taking shape.

The Coastal Collection has had a little refresh and for the next couple of weeks I’ll be making a free, one-of-a-kind A6 boat collage to go with every Coastal Collection order 🌀

The collection includes:
• Dungeness Fisherman’s Hut
• Hastings Net Hut – Tall
• Rye Harbour Red Roof Hut
• Hastings Net Hut – Short

Each collage will be made by me (aka Emily Symons so they’ll all be a little different and yours won’t be exactly like the one pictured.

Available with orders until 25th August, I've got my collage papers and scissors at the ready ✂️
