📢New Project Commencing📢

Working in partnership with Hedyn, we'll be transforming the former 'Open Hearth Pub' site, Ringland, into a new development of 32 high-quality affordable homes. Alongside delivering new homes, we're committed to working closely with the local community to create lasting social value and positive opportunities throughout the build. 🏘️

As we prepare to commence the enabling works on site, our team has spent time hand-delivering our first resident newsletters; introducing ourselves, sharing information about the project, and ensuring the community know how to contact us throughout the build. We believe that keeping our neighbours informed, listening to feedback and building positive relationships is an important part of every project we deliver. ❤️

What a wonderful way to round off the week with a sunny Friday at Pontlliw Primary School’s Year 5&6 pupils, for them to learn more about the wide range of construction careers available, as well as the updates on on our development we’re undertaking in partnership with Codi Group

The children learned more about the wide variety of opportunities there are within the construction industry, and from their ‘what would I like to be’ activity, we discovered there are budding Architects, Carpenters, Landscapers and Social Value Managers in the village!

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the school as the build progresses.

⛳ Charity Mini Golf Fundraiser in support of Llamau 💙

We're proud to be partnering with Newport City Council / Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd City Council and Tredegar Park Mini Golf to raise money for Llamau, helping to create a world without homelessness.

Join us on Friday 4th September at Tredegar Park Mini Golf, Newport for an afternoon of friendly competition, networking, refreshments and a raffle – all in support of an incredible cause.

It was great to have a visit from learners at T.E.A.M @ Severn this week to our Cadwyn Housing Association development at

They were welcomed with a site induction, followed by a tour, then a Q&A where they heard about the opportunities available to them through real life experiences thanks to our crane driver and apprentice👷

As education service we have a partnership with through Cardiff Commitment, we’re looking forward to visiting them again next month to undertake a practical woodwork session 🪚🪵

Willis Construction is looking for an experienced and proactive SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) to join our growing team.
This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about creating safe, compliant, and high-performing construction environments while driving continuous improvement;
✅ Leading health & safety strategy across multiple construction projects
✅ Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, ISO standards, & company procedures
✅ Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments
✅ Supporting operational teams with SHEQ best practices
✅ Driving a positive safety culture throughout the business
✅ Managing incident investigations and corrective actions
✅ Supporting environmental and quality management systems

We’re looking for someone with:
✔ NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
✔ Construction industry experience
✔ Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation
✔ Experience with ISO systems
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills
✔ A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
