This Earth Day, we’re reflecting on the role we all play in shaping a more sustainable future and more importantly, the action required to get there.
At Burroughs, that commitment is being driven forward by our Sustainability Squad 2.0, a reinvigorated internal group focused on turning ambition into measurable progress.
Working closely with our wider Carbon Reduction Plan, the team is championing initiatives that support our pathway to Net Zero by 2040, aligning with Planet Mark and SBTi standards. But beyond targets and frameworks, the focus is simple: embedding sustainable thinking into how we operate every day.
Just as importantly, they’re fostering a culture where sustainability is considered at every stage, supporting our teams and clients to make more informed, responsible decisions in the design process.
Progress doesn’t happen by standing still. It comes from collective effort, clear direction, and a willingness to challenge how things are done.
