❄️☀️We attended this call out last week, the system was stuck in heating mode while asking for cooling. After testing the circuit board and outputs to components, it was clear that the 4 way valve was faulty. Returning this morning to braze in a new replacement. (This was one of the nicer ones where you actually have room inside the appliance to change it) Back up and running again, ready for some warm weather if/when/hopefully/maybe/possibly it comes 😅. ☀️❄️

We’ve supplied and fitted two Toshiba air conditioning systems in the spare parts department. The old gas fired heating system had failed and this option was more economical and efficient in terms of running costs. Commissioned and in use, with the staff now having the added benefit of cooling in the summer months 😁.

I’ve been lacking on the social media side of things lately due to work getting rather busy which is amazing, since mid last month a lot has been happening. This month is pretty much filled up and next month is heading that way too 😁

This is an A/C installation myself and Jamie finished off today in Aspatria, one bedroom and the kitchen dining area. The options, brands and best possible orientation were all discussed and this is the outcome. The customer was really pleased and so are we.

Some alteration work we’ve just completed today at JDP Longtown. The main offices had a system that uses one outdoor unit to supply 3 indoor units using a 3 way distributor. All indoors have to be on or off together in this orientation. One of the indoor units was in a smaller office area next to the open plan, often leaving it behind in terms of satisfied set point temperature. To give this area it’s own independent control we have removed it from the multi system, supplied a compatible outdoor unit, independent controller and re piped the system, converting the open plan to a now twin system.
