Full re-roof using reclaimed Welsh slates with a band of Brazilian slates added at the customer’s request.

🎅 Velux windows urgently installed making sure Santa can still get in this year with no chimney access 😉 🎅

✔️ Rotten rafters replaced
✔️ Section of rotten wall plate spliced and renewed
✔️ New welded lead valley installed
✔️ All timbers treated for woodworm
✔️ New guttering fitted

We’ve just completed a full roof upgrade featuring:
✔️ Brand new Keylite window replacing a leaky cast iron one
✔️ New lead valley on A1F building paper
✔️ Chimney fully re-pointed and haunched
✔️ Old cast iron gutters replaced with plastic on rise and fall brackets

🏠🐴 Stable Saved Just in Time! 🛠️🔨
CJP Roofing & Plastering and E I Carpentry and Joinery Ltd joined forces on this one after discovering severe woodworm and dry rot had compromised the structural integrity of this old stable. The roof actually collapsed during removal showing just how unsafe it had become.
We stepped in just in time to prevent disaster, installing brand new trusses, purlins, and finishing it off with sleek anthracite grey box profile sheets.
✅ Safe for the horses
✅ Structurally sound
✅ Built to last
