Last Job for this year.
A lovely blue colour with oak laminate worktops. The custom made corner sink gave the homeowner the layout they wanted. Just needs tiling now to finish it off.

In the lakes today fitting prefinished oak doors before the bad weather rolled in, the gazebo was trying to take off before the end of the day. Also some splashback tiling done earlier in the week on the same job.

A new roof structure and roof covering installed by E I Carpentry and Joinery Ltd and CJP Roofing & Plastering
This building is a horse stable, the old roof was sagging and full of rot/woodworm. Concerns about it collapsing while the horse was inside prompted it's replacement. It did collapse as it was being taken apart, so this was probably caught just in time.

If anyone knows of someone that is looking for an apprenticeship in Carpentry And Joinery please let them know of this vacancy.
I'm directing all enquirys through Carlisle college.

This is a very good apprenticeship for the right person covering a large variety of work and every aspect of the trade.

A successfull candidate would live in or close to Carlisle, someone from further away would be considered but would need their own transport.

One thing we love doing at E I Carpentry and Joinery is roof structures. Prefabricated trusses, king trusses and traditional cut roofs. From small extensions to much larger structures.

We can install a kitchen you have supplied, or we can supply and install.
With so much going on in a new kitchen install, often new kitchens requiring full or partial rewires, plumbing work, plastering, flooring, etc. Customers often require someone to oversee the project. Someone who has knowledge and experience from doing it many times before, and who can bring in the relevant trades at the right time. Staircases, Balustrades and wall Panelling.
We can supply and fit staircase kits from staircase suppliers. We can also make stair cases on site when the job requires it, there is an example below of a stair case made entirely on site inside a large garage.
There is 2 examples of oak staircases the stringers, risers and treads were all done in oak.
we can install many types of balustrade, hardwood or softwood, prefinished or unfinished, glass or spindles. wall panelling is also very popular at the moment and can transform a space.
