🚨 WE’RE HIRING | MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Are you a Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering graduate looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a growing engineering business?
Topframe Engineering Ltd is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead an exciting process improvement project, transforming how design information flows into manufacturing and helping us build smarter, more efficient production processes.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
• Analyse and improve design-to-manufacturing workflows
• Develop requirements for an integrated production information system
• Design, test and validate improved processes
• Develop SOPs, documentation and training materials
• Establish performance measures and drive continuous improvement
• Work closely with our design office and factory floor
🎓 What we’re looking for:
• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in heavy engineering design and 3D CAD modelling
• Experience with BOM management
• Experience with a PDM system, ideally SolidWorks PDM
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership and lead process improvement
⭐ Desirable experience:
• PDM migration and product range management
• Mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Manufacturing processes, tolerances and machine capabilities
• Technical file preparation
• Designing manufacturing jigs and fixtures
📍 Location: Magherafelt, Northern Ireland
💷 Salary: £30,000 to £40,000
📅 Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
