All wallers are fully qualified and registered with the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain. We undertake all types of walling work, be it garden walls, insurance repairs or larger grant work for farms. Thought I'd share this job I've recently competed. The model house was not built by me and is a copy of the owners own property. My brief was to build a stone plinth around the house for further bits of paving stones and pieces of houses to be added later.looks a it bare at the moment but it's actually sat in the middle of a wild flower meadow. A bit of an unusual project at Great Longstone. The client wanted the wall to be made higher by about 2 feet. The new stone had to be sourced from Mandale quarry, Sheldon. As you can see the wall was layered and internally mortared for strength due to the narrow width of the wall.
