🎄 Reflecting on 2025… 🎄

As 2025 draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on what has been one of the most rewarding yet challenging years in business.

In May, I launched CCS (NW) Ltd, my own Business Development Consultancy. After always being employed, it’s been a real rollercoaster of emotions — but one I’m so glad I took a chance on.

A huge thank you to my BD family for the advice, support, and encouragement along the way. I’ll always be grateful for everything you’ve done to help me on this journey. 🤍

This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from Premier Roofing Systems Ltd and JCT Building Services NW Ltd. A HUGE thank you to both companies for trusting me to work with you and for allowing me to be part of your growth journey. It’s been a pleasure, and I’ve genuinely loved working with you all.

What a fantastic day yesterday! A huge thank you to Fiona Hull MRICS Hull and Alastair Barton for organising such a great and event. Well done to everyone who took part, charging down the aisles to grab as many presents as they could for the amazing charity Cash for Kids

It was all over in a matter of minutes, but Ashley Daker and Milo Beaver did a fantastic job grabbing toys while dressed as The Grinch and Cindy Lou. Ashley Daker even won the trophy for Best Dressed — well deserved, despite a few wardrobe malfunctions along the way!

There are 32,773 children in Greater Manchester who won’t have a present to open on Christmas Day — but Cash for Kids through , are working tirelessly to change that. Helping to make this possible are Fiona Hull MRICS Hull and Alastair Barton, who rally companies from across the Property & Construction Industry to take part in a two-minute trolley dash in B&M Bargains, collecting toys for children in need.

So far, Construction Q and Omina have raised an incredible £48,634.00.

🎄 Making Christmas Magic with Cash for Kids 🎁

A huge thank you to Cash for Kids for the invitation to their fantastic launch event at The Lawn Club Manchester last night! 💫

It was incredible to see so many supporters come together and to hear from Jess Rigby, Charity Manager, and others about the amazing impact the charity has—helping ensure every child wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning. ❤️

This year, Premier Roofing Systems Ltd is proud to be taking part in Dash for Kids 2025!

Each participating company pledges £500 to Cash for Kids and aims to raise another £500 in sponsorship from colleagues, clients, and friends. The best bit? All funds raised go straight to B&M, where companies get to take part in the ultimate trolley dash—grabbing as many toys as possible in a race against time 🛒🎁 It’s absolute chaos… but such great fun for an incredible cause!

All gifts collected are then delivered to the Mission Christmas warehouse, ready to be sorted, packed, and given to children across Greater Manchester who might otherwise go without.

The event is run in partnership with Construction Q and Omnia Plumbing & Heating Ltd who are still looking for more companies from the Property & Construction Industry to get involved—so don’t wait, sign up and make a difference!

✨ A busy but brilliant week of networking and industry insights for my clients Premier Roofing Systems Ltd & JCT Building Services NW Ltd

The week kicked off with Insider Media Preston: Next Generation Growth breakfast event at the impressive new ARC Cinema 🎬. Both panels shared some really insightful discussions on the future of development across Lancashire — great to see so much positivity and ambition for the region’s growth.

Next stop was Education Estates® Exhibition | Conference | Awards which brought some fantastic conversations with both new connections and familiar faces.

And finally wrapped up the week AMES Networking monthly networking event — always a great turnout and brilliant atmosphere. Huge thanks to Faye Regan & Charlotte Jackson for another well organised event.
