🎉 Back to Business for 2026 🎉

After the holiday period shutdown, we’re pleased to confirm a return to our normal operating schedule. All office staff have now returned and the engineers are back on site, so it’s now business as usual across all projects.

As we step into 2026, we’d like to take a moment to thank our clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and, of course, our team for their continued support throughout 2025. Your trust, collaboration, and commitment has been instrumental to our success.

Looking ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be our most progressive year to date, with a strong focus on continued growth across the company and delivery of the high standards our clients expect.

✨ Exciting Acquisition News

We are incredibly proud to share that CSD Air Conditioning Ltd. has officially been acquired by Nordic Climate Group, a leading Swedish organisation and a recognised powerhouse within the heating and cooling industry. NCG has already established itself as a major force within the European market and CSD now becomes part of its strategic planning to continue expansion within the UK.

This marks a significant milestone in our company’s journey. Nordic Climate Group has taken full control of CSD as part of their strategic UK expansion, and we are pleased to confirm that our entire team has been retained. Carlo J Scaramuzza will continue in his role as Managing Director, ensuring stability, continuity, and the same commitment to excellence that our clients and partners know us for. Importantly we retain the CSD brand and our ethos, focused on our customers and service.

Joining Nordic Climate Group opens up a new era of opportunity. With their support, expertise, and international strength behind us, We firmly believe this partnership will elevate CSD to the next level - driving further growth, innovation, and service capability across Scotland and the UK.

🎉 Celebrating Our Project Manager - Johnathan Boyle

We’re delighted to shine a spotlight on our Project Manager, Johnathan Boyle, who joined our team in December 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of our operations here in Glasgow.

Since coming on board, Johnathan has excelled in managing our team of engineers and delivering outstanding support to our clients across a range of air conditioning and ventilation installation projects and contracts. His professionalism, leadership, and commitment to quality have played a key role in the continued success of our secured projects.

Johnathan’s drive and attention to detail have made him an invaluable member of our project team, and we’re excited to see him continue to progress and grow within the company.

📍 Project Update | Glasgow Airport Aviation Hub

Our team are proud to share that we’re now approaching the final stages of our Air Conditioning and Ventilation installation within a new build Aviation Hub at Glasgow Airport.

Following several weeks of steady progress through the first and second fix, we’re now ready for completing final commissioning and system handover — with completion scheduled by the end of October.

Today’s photo features one of our Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating UK VRF Heat Recovery condensers, part of the high-efficiency system designed to deliver reliable climate control across this cutting-edge facility.

A massive well done to our project team for their continued hard work and collaboration in delivering another quality installation, on time and to the programme.

🚧 Project Progress Update – Edinburgh Hotel HVRF/VRF Installation 🏗️❄️

We’re pleased to share a key milestone from our Edinburgh hotel project – the successful crane lift and positioning of the Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating UK condensers onto the rooftop plant deck.
Safely mounted on a Big Foot frame, these units are now securely in place, allowing our team to move forward with the installation of pipework from the bedroom levels up through the risers and into the plant area.

Great to see continued progress on-site, keeping in step with the programme and ensuring a consistent workflow throughout the project.

Well done to everyone involved in a smooth and safe lift. 👷‍♂️🔧

Last week, our team gathered at the stunning Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort for our annual company conference - a day of reflection, forward planning, and team development.

✅ We kicked off the day with a warm welcome and a company update from our Managing Director, 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗮, who shared insights into our business structure and the exciting opportunities for progression within our growing company.

🛡️ A vital part of the day was our 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, delivered professionally and empathetically by 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗥. It’s essential to us that our workplace remains respectful, inclusive, and safe for everyone.

🙌 From serious moments of learning to light-hearted team interaction, the day captured the very best of our company culture. We’re proud of the open conversations, the shared ambitions, and the strong team spirit that continues to push us forward.

🌟 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 🌟

On Friday 19th September, the CSD Air Conditioning Ltd team came together for our annual staff conference and briefing event, held at the stunning Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort.

From 8am to 4pm, 30 directly employed members of our team participated in a day of productive discussions, updates, and planning for year 9, as we further prepared for this busy period and the forthcoming winter season ahead.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the General Manager James and the entire Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort team, whose hospitality and professionalism helped make the day a success. Their excellent service throughout the event – and well into the evening! – truly impressed us all.

After the daytime formalities concluded, it was check in time, with less than a handful of staff not staying overnight. The team then enjoyed some well-deserved relaxation and drinks in the resort’s luxurious new spa facilities, followed by a fantastic evening dinner (more drinks!) and entertainment from a live DJ until late. 🎶💃

The day was not only a success from a business perspective, but also a brilliant opportunity for team bonding, morale-boosting, integration of several new employees, and for showing appreciation towards the incredible people who make CSD what it is year on year.

We will be sharing more content from the event in the coming days and weeks!
