Everything out, everything back in before the doors opened.

This is the , old deep buttoned seating out, fresh foam and fluted backs in, a fantastic transformation and a tight window to get it done.

A great local job. The White Hart in Halstead, and we had to have it done before the pub opened on a short 24-hour turnaround.

Out came the deep buttoning, in went fluted backs and fresh foam throughout, so they are once again very comfy. It's a significant change in style, cleaner and up to date, but it still feels right for the space.

Tight turnaround, all back in place before opening time. Just how it should be.

Changing it up a little to a beautiful residential project, this perfect bench seat for Novo Design.

This is a bespoke bench for a children's bedroom, and it's one of those pieces that remind me how much I enjoy the variation this job gives me.

The frame was made by Charnwood, upholstered by us in Jaipur by Cristina Marrone. The fabric is a dream to work with, and the finish speaks for itself.

Project completed

The booths are in, and the round booth and the cylindrical cushions are sitting exactly where they should be. Seeing everything that started as foam and timber on a workbench now in place at Birmingham O2 is a really special feeling.

If you've followed this project from the beginning, you'll have seen every stage, from the workshop, the O2 sign, and the first look on site. This is where it all ends up.

Really proud of this one.

Here it is.

The finished O2 sign, hand upholstered in the workshop and now in its home at Birmingham O2.

If you've followed this one from the start, you'll have seen Alan hand-nailing every single Heico nail by hand to follow that curve. This is what all of that work was for.

Worth it. 👌

Back at the O2, this time in Birmingham.

If you followed the Club 212 project at the O2 in London, you will recognise this one, and you'll know what goes into a job like this before we ever arrive on site. Everything is built and checked in the workshop first, so the install is just the final part of a much longer process.

You can already see the cylindrical cushions starting to fill the round booth, and they are looking great! (2nd picture)

More to come as this one takes shape. 👀

Here it is.

The finished O2 sign, hand upholstered in the workshop, is ready to make its way to Birmingham.

Panaz Fabrics & Wallcoverings soft touch fabric in Ink, finished with 24mm nickel-plated Heico nails. If you saw the reel of Alan putting this together, this is where all of that work ended up.

This is how the O2 sign comes together.

This is Alan hand-nailing 24mm nickel-plated Heico nails into soft touch fabric in Ink, every single one placed by hand to follow the curve of the O.

It's the kind of detail that takes time and needs to be spot on.
