This bathroom's been completely transformed. The original design had a wall with an archway that was just taking up space, so we knocked it down and removed it along with everything else, including the lights. We replaced the ceiling, plastered all the walls, installed new downlights and flooring. The old shower was on a raised platform, which we removed to fit a larger walk-in shower tray directly on the floor, reducing the step to just 25mm. We also repositioned the toilet for more space, replaced the radiator with a towel rail, and fitted a new bath, sink with vanity, and mirrored cabinet. Had an unlucky client, phoned me to say they had a water stain appearing on the ceiling and a pressure drop on the heating. On arrival I had to cut out the ceiling to expose the leak and repair it. Started to refill the system only to notice the pressure wasn’t holding and another water stain had appeared in another room. Another hole had to be cut to expose another leaking pipe. Heating system was refilled and held pressure, everything working fine by the time I left, just need the insurance company to make good

Took the cover off this when I went to service it and gave the customer the bad news that it needed replacing. Good news was that I supplied a new Baxi with a 10 year warranty

Client had a conventional boiler with loft tanks and hot water cylinder but wanted more space to renovate the bathroom and kitchen so we installed a Baxi combi boiler with 10 year warranty in the loft and removed the old boiler from the kitchen. Removed the hot water cylinder to give them that cupboard space when it comes time to knock through from the bathroom and disconnected all the loft tanks.

Underfloor heating system that was fitted by us. It’s manufactured by fastwarm using a 20mm insulated board with grooves to lay pipes in. Can be tiled straight on to or have laminate layed directly on top. In this instance it was boarded with fastwarms heat pak system ready for carpets
