Pins, Prizes and Plenty of Laughs!

Last Friday, Maine Group team members hit the lanes at the Jet Centre as part of our ongoing Maine Minds Matter campaign.

There was plenty of friendly rivalry on the lanes, but the real win was bringing together colleagues from our six sites for some well-deserved fun.

We rounded off the afternoon with our prize-giving and some delicious platters from Yoko at the Jet Centre Coleraine.

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you to everyone who took part and brought such great energy.

All entry fees from our players went towards raising funds for the Zachary Geddis Trust, which provides essential mental health services free of charge.

Coated for the Elements!

Our team has recently completed coating a set of 26m wind turbine blades using a coating system specified and supplied by Premier Protective Coatings.

When selecting coatings for turbine blades, there are a number of variables to consider:

• Blade tips travel at extremely high speeds, so coatings need to stay flexible and durable as the blade moves.
• Adhesion needs to be superior to keep the coating bonded under those conditions.
• Blades are exposed to extreme weather throughout their service life, so the coating must provide long-term protection against harsh environmental conditions.

Maine Minds Matter Football Tournament 2026

What a brilliant day of competition on Friday 11th September 2026, hosted at Score FC - Coleraine !

Teams from all six of our sites came together, going head-to-head on the pitches to raise vital funds for the Zachary Geddis Mental Health Trust as part of our Maine Minds Matter campaign.

It was an action-packed event filled with some great football and craic!

Maine Minds Matter!

Marking World Su***de Prevention Day, we were joined across our sites yesterday by Yasmin from the Zachary Geddis Mental Health Trust.

Yasmin spoke openly and in a very real, relatable way about what true mental health looks like and the importance of knowing your form.

Conversations like these make a genuine difference in breaking the silence and normalising looking after our wellbeing.

A massive thank you to Yasmin for visiting every site and bringing such a grounded approach to mental health.

We are pairing yesterday's visits with our Head in the Game 5-a-side charity football tournament today.

Teams from across our sites will be going head-to-head to strengthen our team bonds and raise funds for a truly worthwhile cause.
