At the National Exhibition Center Birmingham for MACH 2026, Air Liquide UK and Energas engaged with the industrial community to demonstrate how advanced gas applications and digital solutions drive safer, more efficient manufacturing.
A major highlight in the Welding Zone was our Virtual Reality (VR) Welding Competition. Attracting hundreds of industry professionals and apprentices, the competition used state-of-the-art simulators to evaluate participants on precise telemetry metrics, highlighting the impact of digital training on real-world workshop results.
Following five days of intense competition, we are thrilled to announce James, an apprentice from KGD, as the official MACH 2026 VR Welding Champion! James demonstrated outstanding precision, leading a highly competitive leaderboard to claim the top spot. 🏅
