A fantastic Wednesday evening in Bristol celebrating 60 years of Max Fordham!

Max Fordham hosted their anniversary event at the beautiful Glassboat, bringing together collaborators, clients and industry friends from across the South West.

Ben Coulthard attended on behalf of CMS Group, catching up with the Max Fordham team and other industry contacts.

CMS Group is currently working alongside Max Fordham on the Corsham House project, so it was great to talk through progress as we move closer to completion.

Congratulations to everyone at Max Fordham on 60 years and here’s to the next chapter!

It was fantastic to see such strong community support at Tuesday's public consultation event for the proposed new Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance base in Yeovil.

Local residents, councillors and interested parties came along to learn more about the plans for the new base at Leonardo Airfield and hear how the development will help secure the future growth and longevity of this vital service.

The event was incredibly well attended, and there was a real sense of enthusiasm for the project and the positive impact it will have across Dorset, Somerset and the wider region.

Paul Rogers was there on behalf of CMS Architects and CMS Project Managers & Surveyors as part of our ongoing involvement and support for this exciting project.

We're proud to be helping bring this important facility to life and look forward to the next stage of the journey.

A great afternoon spent at the Bristol Bears Rugby vs Bath Rugby match on Friday with the No.20 Berkeley Square Business Club for Paul!

As always, it was fantastic for Paul to catch up with familiar faces and make some new connections from across the construction, property and business sectors. From surveyors and engineers to contractors and banking professionals, there was plenty of great conversation both on and off the pitch.

One particularly interesting meeting he had was with Dom, the new custodian of Ashton Court Mansion. We're looking forward to arranging a visit and learning more about the future plans for this iconic building.

Events like these are a great reminder of the value of building relationships and staying connected with people across our industry.

A couple of brilliant meetings in Athens recently!

The first was with Anna-Maria, a former CMS team member who left the business around 10 years ago. Although careers and locations may change, it’s amazing how some connections stay with you. Anna-Maria, who now lives and works in London, was back in her home city of Athens for a friend’s wedding, so it was great for Peter to catch up and reminisce.

The second was with CMS client Jason following the successful completion of a hotel refurbishment project in Brighton. Now based in Athens, Peter met Jason for a business brunch to discuss potential future projects and opportunities.

From long-standing friendships to ongoing client relationships, it’s moments like these that remind us how important people and partnerships are to CMS Group.

We attended Weston-super-Mare AFC awards night last weekend.

The evening followed the men’s first team game which got them into the playoffs for promotion. Spirits were high to say the least!

The club is going from strength to strength, during the evening success in both the men’s and women’s teams were shared. As proud sponsors of the club this was a great event and we wish the team continuing success.
