The bell tents up at are a perfect slice of quiet, countryside luxury.

We were thrilled to be enlisted to build the octagonal decking on which they sit. With the environment and the land that they’re custodians of at the forefront of everything they do, it was really important to the owners of Cherry Tree that the foundations of the decking didn’t leave a permanent scar. We opted to use ground screws to alleviate this concern, meaning that the decking can be completely removed and the holes filled in with ease if the bell tents are moved.

Some beautiful shots of the cabins we built and installed for .co last year - this was a really special one to work on.

Each cabin was finished in our North Devon workshop before making the journey up north, where we settled them into their permanent home in the Yorkshire Dales.

Ceilings take up a such a vast amount of wall space in a room and yet are so commonly overlooked when it comes to adding character and detail. Timber herringbone strutting has been used in our barn conversion, adding structural support as well as aesthetic interest.

We can’t wait to see it painted and finished - coming soon!

The size of this open-plan living space left it vulnerable to feeling cold, hollow and echoey. Thankfully, clever use of internal oak cladding added texture and warmth as well as acting as an effective sound baffle.

After being locally sourced, each strip of oak was planed, hand finished and fire treated by us in our workshop.

If you’re looking for a durable, water-proof, easy to clean and lovely to look at wall covering option, micro-cement is always worth considering. Plus it comes in heaps of colours, so we’ll easily find a tone to suit your scheme.
Don’t get us wrong, there are endless beautiful tiles out there, but in this family bathroom the high ceilings and modern finishes cried out for a more contemporary edge - enter micro-cement.

This custom open-tread staircase goes to show that style and substance can exist in equal measure.

Designed and fabricated in house, we welded the steel runner and balustrades in-situ and hand sprayed them using an automotive paint with a soft satin finish.

Building regulations are understandably stringent when it comes to stairs, but we were determined to achieve an airy open-tread design to let the natural light through. Each tread was handcrafted in our workshop to include a lip underneath each step, allowing us to minimise the gaps on the rise without sacrificing the aesthetic.
