🔥 Full Front Stone Repair & Lime Pointing 🔥

Another front elevation brought back to life! 👌🏻

Full stone repairs carried out throughout, removing damaged areas and carefully restoring the existing sandstone, followed by a full lime pointing finish.

Using traditional lime mortar helps the stonework breathe and allows the building to perform as it was originally intended.

The lime is still curing and will settle into a beautiful natural finish. 🧱🏡

Boys have absolutely nailed it this week! 👏👏👏

👌🏻 Front elevation in Portsoy all cut out and ready.

🏗️ Garage extension well underway – foundations dug, underbuild complete, concrete floor poured, and a good bit of the superstructure already up.

🏠 Internal floor poured and finished at PTK – finished photos coming soon.

🪨 Scaffolding up, front elevation cut out, and plenty of stone dressed ready to be built in next week.

Porcelain slabs underway in the sitootrie👌🏻

House in Crovie – Fresh White Wet Dash 🔥🔥

Another job completed by the team, and what a transformation!

The boys absolutely played a blinder on this one. It was far from an easy project, with every bag of material and all the equipment having to be transported for around half a mile just to reach the property. It took plenty of planning and a lot of hard graft, but the result speaks for itself.

The fresh white wet dash has given this beautiful home a completely new lease of life while keeping it in keeping with the character of the area.

We’d like to thank our customer for choosing us and for looking after the team throughout the job.

What a place Crovie is ❤️❤️

What a transformation on this beautiful property just outside Huntly! 😍

After removing the old cement render, we uncovered the original stonework hiding underneath — and wow, was it worth it. The mix of warm ochres, cool greys, and weathered browns really brings the building back to life, with every stone telling its own story.
We then carefully cleaned the surface using a gentle blasting process to lift away the remaining cement without damaging the stone. As the layers came off, the natural texture and colour really started to shine through.

To finish, we repointed the stone using lime mortar, which not only looks great but also helps the building breathe and stay in good condition for years to come.
Absolutely love seeing these old buildings restored to their former glory! 👏

More to come on this one as a few test panels have been done on more areas of the house

A huge thanks to David Forsyth at North Air Property LTD for trusting us with this outstanding renovation, another fantastic addition to his growing portfolio.

This transformation took time and precision. We carefully cut out all the existing mortar before grit blasting the stonework, bringing it back to how it would have looked the day it was originally built.
