A mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) provides a temporary working place usually at height. As outreach is an important factor, the MEWP enables workers to access heights or other positions without the use of things such as ladders or scaffolding.

At GTA we offer this course for £157 per truck and all of our courses are RTITB accredited.

Come and join us at GTA for your RTITB accredited J4 Telehandler training.

The truck is similar to driving a counterbalance but the lift mechanism is different. Instead of it lifting vertically, it uses a telescopic boom that extends out and also lifts up.

By taking part in this course you will learn everything from changing the LPG bottle to loading an artic trailer with all different types of loads.

Passing the course will reward you with your RTITB certificate & registration, something to definitely be proud of.

We've mentioned before that we like to know exactly what our customers want from a training course so we can tailor it to their needs.
Two of our trainees today told us what they'll be using their lorry loader for and what type of loads they're likely to lift at work.

So we did what we do best and couldn't make it any more suited to them, they brought their own crane and a typical load from their workplace. This resulted in a much better understanding of the machine and loads to be used.
