It’s and this year’s theme, ‘Climate Action’, has got us thinking – not just about what we share online, but what we’re doing every day to make a real difference. After all, actions speak louder than words.
At Senior, our focus is on practical steps we can take in‑house to reduce our environmental impact, including:
🔹In‑house powder coating — reducing transport emissions, cutting waste and investing in more efficient technology, including upgrades that have lowered gas use and improved process control.
🔹Lower‑carbon aluminium — all our systems use aluminium with higher recycled content and lower embodied carbon. Our standard aluminium billet is below 3.5kgCO₂/kg, and our ReAL 2.0 aluminium offers an even lower footprint of 1.6kgCO₂/kg.
🔹Thermally efficient systems — from our patented PURe® range to ongoing product development, we design systems that support lower operational energy use over a building’s lifetime.
🔹Independently verified EPDs — expanding our library of Environmental Product Declarations to give architects and contractors transparent, comparable data.
