☺️ VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE ☺️

Busy couple of days and a mixed bag, yesterday completing some electrical work for a lady in her new property, I will return and complete some more work in a couple of weeks when her new light fitting arrives 💡

Today i started by replacing a damaged socket for a family who had accidently knocked it moving the sofa and broke it, also upgrading it to a USB socket for charging the kids Ipads ect 🪛

Then this afternoon I have moved a genuine legend, who has had a hard few years, but is getting back on his feet after some serious injuries, moved all his essentials from his storage container into his new house and I couldn't be happier for him, once he has his new carpets and decorated, I will be taking the rest over, I look forward to that :)

Congratulations to Mark (Spud Muffin) and Keeley on their opening day, just been down for a bacon buttie and a brew, lovely thick bacon and a spot brew, ONLY £4! Get yourselves down there for your dinner, they have jacket spuds, paninis, sarnies, salads, all sorts to try, you wont be disappointed :)

😀 WHAT A VARIED WEEKEND 😀

I've been to Hull, Westwoodside, Gainsborough and Hartlepool over the last two days...

• Hull - a returning customer moving back to University

• Westwoodside - to pick up a piano for a new customer

• Gainsborough - for the same customer I went to westwoodside for, to get a wardrobe this time

• Hartlepool - for a returning customer (one of my first ever customers too) to pick up an electric reclining sofa and 2 chairs and assemble them in the new property

Thanks to all my customers, especially returning customers, its good to build up a trust, but all returning customers where once new ones too! :)

I hope everyone has had a good weekend, don't forget its the competition draw at 8pm tonight, ill post the winner once drawn 🥳

I had not long got back from Cornwall and unpacked, then got some shopping in, when my phone rang for a last minute motorbike pick up, I had just put our tea on, so got that wolfed down and headed over to Barnsley to pick this awesome classic up ready for its new owner to restore it, I look forward to seeing it when its done if needs delivering to its new owner once completed 😀

❤️ DOWN IN THE LAND OF KERNOW ❤️

After a lovely few days back down in Kernow (Cornwall) for Mrs OXOs brothers wedding, its time for the 6 hour drive back up this morning :)

I'm pretty much booked up for the next week apart from monday 7th and tuesday 8th mornings for any bigger/long distance jobs, but if you need single items or just a few bits moving and its reasonably local over the next week, send me a message and I will hopefully fit you in! 👌

I have a good amount of availability from Saturday 12th, so if you have any moves or maintenance you require sorting, or simply a new sofa or motorbike you want collecting, then drop me a message to get booked in 📆

Loving how quickly my main jobs calender is booking up now, it shows how much trust support I am getting from customers and I will always do my best to fit the quicker jobs in around these where I can 👍

🤩 ANOTHER GLOWING REVIEW 🤩

A few jobs I have had now have advised other people have walked away from jobs because items needed dismantling or the access isn't great ect. While yes this generally comes as an extra charge depending on time and effort required, we will not just walk away and not complete the task at all!!! 😯

Here at OXO'S, I am fully insured to carry out the extra tasks that come along with the job, need a window removing, not a problem, need something dismantling and resembling, not a problem, need something removing and reinstalling, not a problem... nothing is a problem! 👍

Some times due to time or equipment constraints things may have to be rebooked for another day, but 99% of the time even complex jobs can be completed with the hiring of specialist lifting equipment or just the time and care taken to dismantle and re-assemble, we will always get the job done! Just as we have today, its only 4 bolts to take the table apart to get it out, so no extra charge 💸

All we ask is try to give as much information as possible if you think it may need it, so correct tooling can be bought to the job where required, if its not needed, no worries, if it is needed, the job can go on :)

Thanks to all my customers who have already left glowing reviews and know i will always go the extra mile, if I have done work for you and you haven't left me a review yet, it would be really appreciated if you could 🙏

Why is it on the days I plan to do stuff for myself, it pees it down! 🙃

Today's plan, Move an american fridge freezer (doors removed to get it out the property and refitted at new address), then go for breakfast at Westy's cafe and then head down to Yorkshire Caravans of Bawtry and empty our classic merc camper ready for selling it...🚐

Today's reality, Move the american fridge freezer (thank fully before the rain) go westies for breakfast, do some shopping and now hibernate infront of the TV for the rest of the day with Mrs OXO and the dogs 📺

But at least the plants will be loving the weather! 🌳

Roll on the predicted thunderstorms! ⛈️

If anyone is interested in buying a cheap classic camper then drop me a message, it did fail its MOT about 2 months ago, no rott or anything major, I've got most of the parts it needs fitting, just want it gone as we dont need it so I dont have the motivation to do it. Nearly tax and mot exempt too.
