The future runs on cleaner energy. Today is World Environment Day and we're helping our clients reduce their environmental impact (and their energy costs). 🌍

🔋 We believe so strongly in solar PV that we've invested in it for our own office. We've got an in-roof system on both sides of our East/West facing roof, combined with two SMA EV Chargers, and 20kWh battery storage.

⚡ In real terms, this means that even on a drizzly June day, with thick cloud cover the solar system is covering the entire building load, and exporting 3,612kW to the grid. Our heating/air conditioning is electric, so is the hot water - so it doesn't cost us a penny.

♻️ We've saved 2.24 tonnes of carbon since September 2025, the same amount as driving a petrol vehicle for a year, or taking 20-25 flights to Europe.

💚 It's not just about the PV either, we've got ISO14001 certification which underpins our commitment to operating an environmentally friendly business.

𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 €𝟴,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗘𝗩 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻.

Vehicles over 13 years will be eligible for the scheme, encouraing drivers to make the switch to clean EVs. If you're planning on making the switch, thinking ahead about how you'll charge your car is a good idea. Workplaces should also be considering adding EV charging for staff and visitors.

The first EV from the iconic Maranello brand boasts impressive range and power, but will that be enough to replace the signature vroom of an ICE? It's the first Ferrari to have 5 seats too - so the family can come on your supercar adventures too.

If your budget doesn’t quite cover a solar battery is it wise to cut the number of panels, then add more later?

We asked Jerome - his advice is that the panels are the cheapest part of an install but adding more down the line can be costly. Maximise the panels then add a battery, but don’t leave it too long.
