Things are extremely busy at Mitton & Dixon, last week we started another project at Lincoln. Demolition of existing outbuilding to create a 20x5m lean too extension.

in 5 days we have the building removed, floor slab removed and drains exposed, ground all prepped and excavation for the footings has begun!

Today, in the sunshine, we started an exciting new project. The works include the removal of a rear conservatory and the construction of a brand-new extension, along with major structural alterations, including the removal of internal load-bearing walls.

We'll also be carrying out a garage conversion and constructing a new front porch to complete the transformation.

We look forward to sharing the progress as the project develops.

Another project ongoing and something a little different to the standard extension/renovation. supply and install of 2x stonework surrounds to one of our ongoing projects these will look fantastic when the bespoke doors are installed. a busy few weeks at Mitton & Dixon! current projects ongoing, we started a full ground floor strip out at Matlock, this involved removal of internal load bearing wall and relocating a doorway position from the hall/kitchen diner, steelwork install and also an upgrade to the flooring which involved installing underfloor heating throughout the ground floor with a flow screed to finish! kitchen install and joinery is ongoing but this will be a much more effiecient and usable layout for the customer. any enquiries please visit mittondixonltd.com and we will be in touch

Another busy week at Mitton & Dixon! 💪

On one project, we’ve installed the flooring and fully plasterboarded, leaving everything ready for skimming.

We’ve also kicked off a new kitchen renovation – starting with a full strip-out, including removal of internal walls and tiles. Next comes full electrics and plumbing, followed by replastering and tiling, all in preparation for the new kitchen install.

Rip-out is now complete, and we’re moving onto first fix, getting everything ready for plastering.
