Another heating system brought back to life 🔥💧

We removed a 15 year old Glowworm Flexicom that had unfortunately leaked onto the electrics and completely failed, along with replacing the old hot water cylinder.

Installed today:

• New Glowworm Energy 15r heat only boiler
• New vented hot water cylinder
• Magnetic filter
• Wilo pump
• Drayton 3 port valve
• Full re-pipe of the airing cupboard
• New cylinder stat

After two days of hard work, the customer is back up and running with reliable heating and hot water, plus peace of mind with a 10 year warranty 👌

🔥 Last week’s transformation 🔥

Out with the old, in with the new 👇

We removed a dated Baxi Bermuda back boiler and fire, along with the existing hot water cylinder, water tanks, and all radiators, completely stripping the system back to start fresh.

In its place, we supplied and installed a brand new Baxi 424 Combination Boiler along with a full set of modern, efficient radiators throughout the property.

The result is a much cleaner, more compact, and up-to-date heating system that not only looks the part but performs far better too 💪

We removed a tired heat-only boiler, along with the water tanks and cylinder, after this old Worcester had finally given up.

In with the new…

A brand new Baxi 830 combi boiler supplied and fitted in the loft, giving the customer a far more efficient, reliable and space-saving system 💪

What we did:
✔️ Installed new flue terminal through the roof
✔️ Repositioned the boiler for safer, easier access
✔️ Fitted a remote filling loop in the cupboard below for easy system top-ups
✔️ Installed a wireless programmable room thermostat for better control

Out with the old 👋

This Ideal Logic had done a solid 14 years, but it was time for an upgrade.

We’ve now installed a brand new Baxi 430 Combi 🔥
✔️ 5-year warranty
✔️ Stainless steel heat exchanger
✔️ Built for performance & reliability

The system was fully flushed and treated with anti-corrosion inhibitor to keep everything running efficiently and protected for years to come.

Bit of a different one on this job as well… flue access wasn’t the easiest 😅
Had to get the ladders out and go up the side of the building to get it sorted safely 💪

🚨 Boiler Replacement in Eastbourne 🚨

We recently removed this 13-year-old Ideal Logic combi after the customer noticed water pouring out of the boiler case.

After investigating, we found the filling loop had been left open for around 6 months, which meant fresh water was constantly entering the system. This eventually caused the main heat exchanger to split, with all that water quietly running away through the condensate pipe until the boiler finally gave up.

Out with the old and in with the new…

🔥 New Baxi 836 Combi Boiler installed
✔️ 10-year manufacturer warranty
✔️ Magnetic system filter to protect the new boiler
✔️ Programmable room thermostat for better comfort & efficiency
✔️ Full system checks and setup

This one was installed on a vertical flue running through a void, so a fair bit of work went into ensuring everything was safe, compliant and built to last.

A great upgrade for the customer with a much more reliable and efficient heating system ready for the years ahead.

⚠️ Tip: Always make sure your filling loop is closed after topping up your system. Leaving it open can slowly damage your boiler over time.

🔥 Boiler Upgrade Completed This Week 🔧

This property had a very old Baxi Boston floor standing boiler that was well past its best and struggling to heat the house efficiently.

We replaced it with a Baxi 415 heat only boiler, giving the home a far more reliable and efficient heating system.

As part of the job we also:
✔️ Installed a new 3-port valve
✔️ Fitted a new pump and programmer
✔️ Re-piped the airing cupboard
✔️ Carried out a full system flush (which it definitely needed!)

The result is a much warmer home and a heating system running properly again. ✅

Out flushing this heating system today on a boiler we previously fitted… and just look at the state of that water 🤢

This is exactly why we don’t just “fit and forget.”

Before carrying out the flush, we added system cleaner to break down the sludge, magnetite and debris sitting in the radiators and pipework. Once it’s loosened, we flush it through properly to protect the new boiler and improve efficiency.
