An eerily quiet Rosyth Docks allowed us to collect our 1:450 working model of The Forth Bridge in absolute solitude during lockdown for some essential bridge maintenance on behalf of Cruise Forth.
Not quite a full repaint due to the new longer lasting paint used these days ;) but some track cleaning, a tidy up and the addition of Inchgarvie, the small uninhabited island under the bridge.
Interesting Fact: The part of Inchgarvie we see above water is the top of an igneous crag and tail structure similar to the Edinburgh Castle Rock and the Royal Mile formed by glacial activity.
