Earlcoate Construction & Plant Hire was established in 1997, initially as a plant hire business. With our team of experienced personnel, construction professionals and plant operators Earlcoate has gone from strength to strength. From our base in the New Forest the company operates throughout the south of England. Since 1997 we have undertaken a diverse range of civil engineering contrac

ts including highways works, reinforced concrete structures, retaining walls, bridges and weirs. We undertake piling, major pipelines, coastal defence, flood alleviation, environmental improvement schemes, car parks, drainage, river bank and canal restoration along with coastal defence, port & harbour related schemes. We have completed a vast number of groundwork packages for building clients right across the region, from entire infrastructure and foundation works associated with substantial residential and commercial developments, to simple dropped kerbs and new driveway installations. Earlcoate own and operate an extensive fleet of construction plant which is maintained by our own service team. The company has a plant repair/replacement policy which ensures that our equipment is always in excellent condition. By sourcing the majority of our plant needs in-house, we can ensure our clients receive a service that is both reliable and responsive. We operate a fleet of trucks to move plant on time and are able to supply or remove bulk materials in loads, ranging from 800kgs to 20 tonnes. We are Environment Agency registered carriers CB/TN 5312 SL. At Earlcoate we ensure that safety is designed into our systems to protect all personnel involved, including the general public. Guided by our Health and Safety policy, Earlcoate engages the whole company in an ongoing process of continuous improvement in terms of Health and Safety. All employees receive both in house and external training. This training reinforces a common understanding of the duty of care personnel have for themselves and those around them. All of our workforce is 100% CSCS, CPCS, CMPE compliant. Our site managers and foremen are SMSTS and SSSTS qualified respectively. We have NRSWA managers and operatives, as well as many employees qualified in other aspects such as Confined Spaces, Abrasive Wheels, Nail Guns, Chainsaws, PASMA and MEWPs. Earlcoate is committed to integrating environmental best practice into all business activities and operating a strict policy to reduce the impact of our business activities on the environment. The company recognises its responsibilities to the environment and to operate in a sustainable way. We employ various measures from procuring only from sustainable assured sources through to maintaining and operating our plant in an efficient manner. We are constantly working to reduce our carbon footprint by reducing fuel emissions, reducing water consumption and segregating /recycling waste.
