They are based in Fownhope, near Hereford, and have supplied sound for many events and recordings, ranging from the Party in the Park in Tenbury Wells, to recording Colin Cowels. Over the years, they have gained recognition for their work, and in October 2011 their founder and CEO, Joshua Moore, received the Young Good Citizens Award from West Mercia Police, citing a lot of the work he has done to
help the community with JM:Acoustics. "One of our passions is to see a new generation of young people able to work a mixing desk, set up a complex rig, and understand about how to mix for bands, solo singers with backing tracks, recording live events, and many more skills needed in the industry" - Joshua Moore in an interview in December 2011. Over the years, JM:Acoustics have worked with many people, including some of the top sound engineers in the country, down to the students at local schools. "As a Christian company, we love to be able to give back to the community. We have manage to have enough funding to be able to gift our services to charity events, so they don't have to worry about the technical side, and how much it would cost. Another way we like to give back is by going into schools and colleges and training the students so they can do it for their school shows and more."
