From garage to something much more

Full strip-out to start, stud walls down, old doors removed, and new structure going in. Openings reworked, brickwork sealed up, and now insulating the ceiling, walls, and floor to make the space fully comfortable year-round.
New flooring going down, plus a complete bathroom redesign with electrics and plumbing all underway.

Plenty of progress so far… the best is yet to come.

Before & After: Attic transformation into a new bedroom

We turned this unused attic into a cosy, functional new bedroom.

The work included a new floor structure, insulation, wooden floorboards, electrics, plus plastering, sanding, and painting to bring everything to a clean new finish.

A great transformation, and we’re really pleased with how it turned out!

Before & After: Kitchen and utility floor transformation

We’ve just completed this kitchen and adjoining utility/bathroom floor renovation, a great turnaround from worn-out to refreshed.

Old tiles were removed, a plumbing leak sorted, and new tiles laid in the kitchen. Next door required extra work, with the concrete slab removed, excavated, and re-poured to match the same level for a seamless finish.

To keep some character, the original wooden sleeper step was refitted, blending the old with the new.
From broken to solid, ready to be enjoyed.

Before & After: Restoring a classic wooden floor
We’ve just finished restoring the beautiful wooden floor in this 1973 school-turned-home. It’s always a pleasure to breathe new life into old floors, and this one’s now looking as good as new!

The process involved four stages:
Sanding to remove years of wear
Gap filling for a smooth finish
Staining in a rich, darker colour
High-traffic clear varnish for long-lasting protection

It’s amazing what a bit of care and attention can do to a floor with history. Ready for a fresh start, just like the space itself!
