Interchange News in Gateshead Interchange had 15 fluorescent light fittings, each consuming 3 tubes at around 58W each. Total power consumption was around 2.6kW. Their total energy costs on lighting alone were around £208 per month. Using LED with total consumption at 540W, their costs should drop to around £44 per month. Obviously there are other items consuming power, but lighting upgrades alone should reduce their energy costs significantly.
