Saturday morning we got a message on our Instagram page for a leaking bath, water going where it absolutely shouldn’t be.

Scott went out, got it sorted, job done.

You always think people know what it is you offer but what she messaged me afterwards made me realise not everyone sees your content and what you offer.

She messaged afterwards to say she had no idea we handled full renovations and that she’ll be in touch when she’s ready to do it properly.

She’s just moved into a new home and looking to renovate it in the near future and had no idea the same people who just fixed her leak could run the full project to save her having to deal with lots of different tradesmen.

This is why we always say one number, all trades, everything covered.

You don’t need four different people.

You just need us, let us take that stress off you.

Last Sunday night we took Lucy Loo (aka the daughter) to ABBA Voyage for the last of her 21st celebrations.

Me, my mum, my sister Kirsty and our girl. London, lots of dancing, ABBA and way too many drinks. 😂

It was absolutely amazing I would recommend it 100 times over and watching Lucy’s face the whole night made my wee heart happy 😃

Scott held the fort on Monday.

The business kept moving and I switched off completely for one night and one day lol!

This is our future goal - a business that works hard enough that we can actually enjoy the moments that matter.

Lucy your 21st has been one for the books, lots of celebrating, with one more big celebration in Tenerife next month then I’m hanging my dancing shoes up for a wee while 🤣🥴

Wanted to show you our new space properly.

This is the PFF office, we are still adding bits and pieces, still making it ours, but already it has completely changed how I work.

I’ve been more focused, more productive and more creative in the last week than I have in months.

Environment design is real when your space feels intentional, your work does too.

We’re also about to start filming something here that we’re really excited about. Well when I see we I mean me 🤣

You might know us for kitchens and bathrooms but this week we want to show you something a little different.

This is Fleur de Liste tattoo shop in St Enoch Square Tattoos Glasgow and we fitted the acoustic wall panelling and sorted their staff kitchen including a new sink (forgot to take pics 🫣)

The finished space looks incredible and we’re really proud of how it came together (swipe to see before pics)

This is what happens when you have a team that can turn their hand to anything.

Commercial spaces, domestic renovations, emergency callouts - one number, all trades, whatever you need.

This is our nephew Oliver. He’s 15 and he’s been on site with us this week labouring alongside Scott and his dad Russell.

Oliver wants to be a joiner and instead of waiting around for it to happen he’s out here getting his hands dirty, learning how things actually work and getting some experience you can’t get in a classroom.

Watching the three of them work together this week has been something else. Scott learning from his dad for years. Now passing that same work ethic and standard on to the next generation.

From what I am seeing the trades need more young people like Oliver. Skilled tradespeople are in higher demand than ever and the ones who commit to it early can build incredible careers.

We’re proud to have him on the team this week. Even if he’s making the rest of us feel slightly old. 😂

I got to spend time with Andrew Hulbert - founder of Pareto FM on Monday.

He started the business from his bedroom at 27, built it into a £50 + million facilities management company and sold it for $100 million.

This is the kind of person you sit across from and realise very quickly this is a once in a lifetime opportunity - write everything down Leanne 😆

He talked about a lot of things mainly his story.

But two things have stayed with me and I wanted to share them as may help other business owners.

The first - over communication is how he grew so fast. Not just doing good work, but making sure every single person involved always knew exactly what was happening, he would over communicate feedback, instructions, everything basically.

The second - he said something I haven’t been able to stop thinking about since.

“The life you want is in the work you don’t want to do.”

25 years of Scott doing the work nobody sees.

Me building businesses since my late twenties.

Neither of us got here by avoiding the hard stuff

We’re not stopping now. 🖤

This week I went to London, came home with an office, signed a lease, had about a hundred ideas and wrote approximately none of them down properly. 😂

Meanwhile Scott has been on the tools every single day without stopping.

Commercial fit out, quotes going out & jobs being priced.

We have very different roles in this business and some weeks the contrast is genuinely hilarious from the inside.

He builds things.

I build everything around the things he builds.

Neither works without the other & I don’t think either of us would have it any other way.

This week we started a commercial fit out for a well known company.

Full rip out first with everything stripped back to a shell before anything new goes in.

This is the stage most people never see, the messy stage I like to show.

The messy, unglamorous bit that has to happen before the finished result is possible.

It’s the same process whether it’s someone’s dream bathroom or a large commercial space.

You strip it back and you do it right without rushing it.

This one is going to look completely different in a few weeks.

Not just the before and afters, not just the transformations, but the real conversations behind the business.

Me asking the questions every homeowner actually wants to ask a tradesman, from a woman who came from the salon world and still doesn’t fully understand what first fix means. 😂

Hopefully some funny stories, honest answers, probs a few swear words but the stuff that makes you trust the person you’re letting into your home.
