In just a couple of days we’ve gone from breaking out all the old concrete and rubble, to digging down, clearing everything out, and getting it all prepped ready for the next stage.

✅ Old surface removed
✅ Ground dug out and cleared
✅ Drainage channels installed
✅ Sub-base laid and compacted

Now it’s all set and ready to be laid! Can’t wait to see the finished result come together 👌

This week I tackled a full refresh around the shed and garden area. The work included:
• Breaking out and replacing the old concrete slab by the shed.
• Cleaning up around the washing line area.
• Laying down 50 meters of fresh bark to really make the flower bed stand out.
• Extending the driveway to provide extra space and improved access for a wheelchair.

Everything is looking neat, tidy, and much more functional now — a big improvement for both appearance and accessibility.

From rubble and dirt ➡️ to crisp, clean paving slabs – what a difference already!

The main section is now complete and ready for grouting. Can’t wait to see it fully finished and looking sharp! 👌

Hard work, a lot of shifting, and plenty of patience… but 100% worth it.

Today I made a start on a brand-new pathway leading up to the front door, and it’s already taking shape! The tired old concrete is gone, the base is prepped, and the design is ready to shine.

This path will be finished with stunning Kandla Grey Porcelain slabs, framed beautifully with a sleek anthracite border for that modern contrast. To top it off, I’ve installed a stylish kerb stone step that really makes the entrance stand out.

This little upgrade is going to make a big impact on the front of the house – can’t wait to show you the finished result! 👌

Quick little job done this morning – built a solid wooden flower bed to brighten up the garden! 🌿✨

Started with a clear patch by the fence, and in just a few hours, it was transformed into a sturdy raised bed ready for planting. Made from thick timber, lined and built to last – perfect for flowers, shrubs, or even some veggies later on.

Really pleased with how it’s turned out, can’t wait to see it full of colour soon! 🌸🌼🌱
